Le lac Mashu est un lac endoréique de cratère formé dans la caldeira d'un volcan potentiellement actif. Il se situe dans le parc national d'Akan, sur l'île d'Hokkaido, au Japon. Ce lac est considéré comme l'un des plus clairs au monde. Le volcan Mashu se trouve sur la paroi est de la caldeira de Kussharo (26 km d'est en ouest) .
