[Kanji] Kazakhstan Hoodie
Qazaqstan Respublikasy/Республика Казахстан/Respublika Kazahstan
A republic in northern Central Asia. Following the collapse of the Soviet Union, it became independent in December 1991 and changed its name to the Republic of Kazakhstan by adopting the conventional region name as the country name.
It borders Russia to the north, the Caspian Sea to the west, China to the east, and Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Turkmenistan to the south.
This Kanji notation was used until the early Showa period, but recently katakana notation is common, and few Japanese can read it.
