I found this while taking a walk in the spring sunshine. What do you think these flowers are? They’re not rapeseed flowers. They’re actually broccoli flowers. Unharvested broccoli plants had stretched out their stems and bloomed. It was a broccoli field.

This building is located in Nishi-Shinjuku (a secondary business district) in Tokyo. This photo was taken from the east just before sunset. The building was constructed on land reclaimed from the site of the Yodobashi Water Purification Plant, which stood there until the mid-Showa period.
