A country located in West Asia. The official name is Al-Jumhūrīyah al-’Irāqīyah. It borders Turkey to the north, Iran to the east, Syria and Jordan to the west, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait to the south, and part of the south to the Persian Gulf (Arabic Gulf).
