An island nation located on the western Pacific between Southeast Asia, Taiwan and Borneo, Sulawesi. The land consists of about 7,100 islands. It belongs to a tropical monsoon climate, with the rainy season from May to October and the dry season from November to February. There are many typhoons coming from June to December.
