This is a heart-shaped typographic representation of the word “thank you” in 44 languages. The choice of words has been made so that the thank you in each country are polite or formal, or more emphatic than a general thank you, so that they can be used by friends, family, and others who are not close to you.
It is estimated that there are more than 7,000 languages spoken worldwide, which is less than 1% of the total number of languages spoken in the world, but these languages cover about 2/3 of the world’s population.
Kokoro is Japanese for “心”, a word that expresses heart for explicit expression and feeling or emotion for sensory expression.
This style comes from the manga culture.
If you look closely, you can see the letters slightly bulging in a heart shape. In manga, it is common to intentionally distort the lines toward the center or the character in order to make the space look wider, as if looking through a camera’s wide-angle lens, when you want to bring the viewpoint to the intended location. This design utilizes this technique.

The language changes with the location, and some languages are spoken differently depending on the gender of the speaker. A typical example is Portuguese. Portuguese is spoken as an official language not only in the Portuguese Republic in Western Europe, but also in Brazil in South America and in five African countries: Guinea-Bissau, Cape Verde, Sao Tome y Principe, Angola, and Mozambique.
In Asia, the language differs slightly by gender, as does the Kingdom of Thailand in Southeast Asia.
