A popular photo spot for tourists in Shibuya
Here are the impressions of the author of this work, who recently passed through this intersection by bicycle.
When the light turns green, many tourists come out to the intersection to take selfies.
While people don’t collide, a huge number of people are moving about. Compared to over a decade ago when it was almost exclusively Japanese people, the situation of those passing through has changed dramatically. There are now many more people of various races and nationalities, including tourists. Please be careful, as suddenly stepping out into the intersection or stopping abruptly could lead to collisions.
Also, be extremely careful when taking photos while walking backward, as it is dangerous.
