This is a term that has become commonplace from the world of Shogi (Japanese chess)
It refers to a situation where the outcome of a game is already decided in favor of one side.
It is often used in the late stages of a game when one side has gained a significant advantage in terms of pieces or when the king is in a safe position, leaving no room for a comeback. Conversely, even if victory is clear, it is rarely used in the late stages of a game where there is only a difference of one or two moves.
In general sports competitions, cheering for this outcome often implies a desire for the team to win at all costs.
This is an analogy using mountains.
If you look closely, you can see that parts of each word form the ridgelines of mountains.
A circle representing the sun is drawn at the top of the mountain. This work was created with the intention of conveying that “beyond the challenge lies the summit, and beyond victory lies the championship.”
For example, changing the red circle to a symbol mark for a school or local sports club and using it to cheer them on could help boost morale.
