Nadeshiko has several meanings.
- Perennial of the family Nadeshiko. Native to Yamano, about 50 cm high. The leaves are linear, white and opposite. In the summer and autumn, the pink flower is opened and the tip of the petal is thin.
- Kimono’s Kasane color name (The item of the outer surface and lining of the clothes made to the family society, and the item of the color arrangement when wearing clothes repeatedly.). The table is red plum and the back is blue. One theory is that both the front and back are crimson. Used in summer.
- The name of the monarch. A combination of flowers and leaves of Nadesico.
- A child and girl who is so cute.
- It is also used as a Japanese female given name. Occasionally, it appears as a character name in manga and anime. Additionally, the Japan Women’s National Soccer football Team is commonly known as Team Nadeshiko.
