Description

It is a side dish that’s popular in Japan. Japanese says “Tori No Kara Age”.
The basic method of making fried chicken is simple: “deep fry seasoned chicken,” but there are a wide variety of ways to prepare fried chicken, including using different seasonings and adding sauces. Chicken thighs are most commonly used for karaage.

There are two main types of seasoning

The first is a soy sauce-based seasoning with a hint of soy sauce. The second is a salt seasoning based on dashi (Japanese soup stock).
Based on these, dealers add their own blended seasonings to create originality.
